Education: Collect and share information about the uses, benefits and possible limits of online counseling. 2. Ethical practice: Understand, follow and promote the recommendations of EthicsCode.com for professional practice online. 3. Quality of service: Develop standards for evaluating mental health sites and services. 4. Professional dialogue: Create discussion forums for mental health professionals worldwide to allow collegial exchange of information regarding online counseling. 5. Community and professional development: engage with educational institutions, professional associations, corporations, governing agencies and the public to expand understanding and use of professional online counseling.
